Friends Stations Training Firefighters Action

Bomberos Cuahuila Sureste has five fire stations in the Saltillo area. The stations include kitchens and sleeping areas. Several stations have classrooms.

The firefighters work three shifts, or "guardias", 24 hours on, 48 hours off. Each station has two paramedics per ambulance, three firefighters per engine. There is a lieutenant assigned to each station for each shift, and a captain for each station works 8 to 5. Captains take on-call responsibility for one night per week. The department responds to approximately 35 calls per week.

 
Estacion Central Saltillo
Estacion Central has one engine, one telescoping ladder with pipeway, one rescue squad and two ambulances.
One ambulance serves the town of Arteaga.
 
Estacion Ramos Arizpe
Estacion Ramos Arizpe has one pumper, one 100-foot aerial ladder truck, and one ambulance.
The fire department shares the building with the police department and courts.
 
Estacion Sur
Estacion Sur has one engine and one ambulance.

Estacion Oriente has one engine, one mini-pumper, and one ambulance

The new Estacion Poniente has one engine and one ambulance.
